We love coming to work every day! Everyone on our in-house design team does their part to make sure projects run smoothly as well as creating a fun environment to work in. Not only do we have a great team, but we get to do what we love every day, which is creating new designs, tackling new projects & venturing into new territories in the fabric industry. Our team loves to take chances, whether it’s creating bold color combinations or experimenting with specialty printing, such as glow-in-the-dark, metallic & glitter. We are always on the lookout for what we could possibly do next! We get to work with a number of fantastic artists, whom we consider to be an extension of our ‘Design Family’. They make our job enjoyable by creating the most adorable & beautiful prints that we know our crafters, sewers and quilters will absolutely fall in love with!

After years as a children’s fashion designer working in London Town, Andrea took her doodlings to Indigo in Paris and found that people wanted to purchase them. Andrea gave up freelancing for various companies in the big smoke and moved husband Paul, Nanook, Manky and Skud (3 cats) to a traditional cottage deep in the emerald countryside of Ireland. Cinnamon Joe Studio was born! Fast forward 10 years: Andrea, Paul, 3 cats and a new addition, Shiffley (a hairy dog), represent a truly talented group of international artists who, thankfully, have the same sense of humour. Cinnamon Joe Studio maintains an extensive, versatile portfolio for all aspects of the children’s apparel, stationary, bedding, scrapbooking, gift wrap, sticker market, interior and novelty markets. Newly added to the product list are children’s book illustrations and exclusive collections for Camelot Fabrics. Andrea still does freelance for companies, as well as managing the design studio. Her art is quirky, cute, humorous and colourful.

Shirley Copperwhite is a Pattern Designer and Illustrator who lives with her husband and two children in a quaint red brick victorian house in Dublin, Ireland. Having worked in Graphic Design, she always loved making surface pattern designs so she set up her own company to follow this dream. Shirley also creates textiles such as homewares, high quality accessories, art prints and cards for sale in selected shops in Ireland, the UK and online. When she's not working at her seaside studio in south Dublin, she looks forward to trips to places such as the Portuguese island of Madeira renowned for its beautiful flowers and plants and of course its annual flower festival. Traveling helps to fuel her ongoing obsession with nature, pattern and colour and provides lots and lots of inspiration. Shirley says her formula for good design is to love life and colour, and to have a quirky sense of humour with an ability to think outside the box. Shirley loves designing for fabric, and adores really good chocolate, old movies and tea! Well you can’t be Irish and not like tea, now can you?

My name is Vita Lane and I'm an illustrator, surface pattern designer, and all around creative and wonderfully-messy artist. My artwork can be found on items such as fabric-by-the-yard (hooray for Camelot Fabrics!), invitations, stickers, scrapbooking materials, puzzles, stationery, book covers, magazine spots and more. I have a degree in Illustration from Syracuse University, and live in the great state of New Hampshire with my husband and pup. I'm addicted to yoga. I'm left-handed but use righty scissors because they work better anyway. I can recite all 50 states in alphabetical order, I love design magazines and blogs, and listening to audiobooks as I work.

My long standing love affair with pattern and color led me to a BFA in Surface Pattern Design, which was the perfect blend of fun and functional. I spent the following 10 years producing a diverse portfolio of prints in-house for both home textiles and children’s apparel. In order to move to greener pastures (specifically New York City to North Carolina), I went rogue in 2012 and have been building a robust client roster ever since. Expanding well beyond textiles, I have had the opportunity to create illustrations and prints for such products as party paper, dinnerware, online invites and greeting cards. In 2013, I began licensing and exploring my own personal style which includes fresh color palettes and fruit motifs.

Hi, I'm Teresa. My passion for design began as a young child, sitting hours at a time in my grandfather's tailoring business in San Francisco. I was mesmerized by the beautifully patterned fabrics as he worked tirelessly. I took this love of design to San Francisco State University, studying Industrial Arts with an emphasis on Graphic Communications. From SFSU, I was accepted to study Advertising Design at Chung Yuan University in Taiwan. Following my studies, I launched a career encompassing all phases of production and design. Now I've come full circle with Chan Graphics, returning to surface pattern design, to the memories of my grandfather, to the language of part and whole. My style aspires to be vintage with a modern twist, organic and playful, waking our imagination and memories through the design workings of florals, animals, and keepsakes of all kinds.

The story of Finlayson began in 1820, when after a short period of time it became the largest industrial enterprise in Scandinavia. The first electric lights in the Nordic countries were switched on in the Finlayson weaving mill in 1882. Throughout the 200 year history of the company, social justice has been at the core of its values. Finlayson’s growth is based on unique courage and open-mindedness.

Finlayson studio, founded in 1951, was in the first wave of Scandinavian fabric design to conquer the world with its original, minimalist, colourful and fresh approach. Today the Finlayson print archive is the largest Scandinavian design collection in the world. The oldest sample books date back to 1836, while the ink is barely dry on the newest. Over the years, the collections have featured many tasty, delicious, stylish and cozy prints, each in their own charming way a reflection of their era. Considering all this, it is easy to understand why Finlayson is still by far the most loved home design textile producer in Finland.
